Lace 101: an introduction to lace knitting

Lace knitting is easier than you think! Learn how to create elegant, open stitches by making holes in your knitting…on purpose! This introduction to lace knitting covers the most common stitches used, choosing the right yarn and needles for lace projects, following lace patterns, and tips on avoiding and fixing mistakes, and finishing.

Prerequisites: Participants should know how to cast on, knit and purl and work basic increases and decreases.

Duration: 3 hours

When: Wednesday, December 7th, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Fee: $40 + HST
